Treating Opioid Dependence
Opioid dependence is when a person is physiologically or psychologically addicted to opioids, such as pain pills and/or heroin. Opioid dependence is a brain disease that can be treated with a combination of medical monitoring and quality therapeutic services in an outpatient medical setting with the help of a highly trained, qualified team providing medication-assisted recovery.
Medical Services
Alpha-Medicor’s dedicated and trained medical team of physicians and PA-Cs treat all facets of addiction and mental health related to alcohol and opioid dependence. Vivitrol®, Sublocade™, and Suboxone® are the treatment options used. The medical team collaborates with inpatient and outpatient facilities to promote comprehensive and continued treatment pre- and post-care.
Therapeutic Services
Our master’s level therapists, certified recovery counselors and wellness coaches guide each client through the recovery journey in conjunction with the medical treatment. Each client is assessed and individualized to meet his or her particular needs for a successful recovery and new beginning. The combination of individual and group sessions adds multiple dimensions to added support and coaching during treatment, including the very convenient tele-therapy sessions.
